Warcraft 2[]
One of the few rangers of the kingdom of Lordaeron. Like others, Mathor was trained in the arts by their former High elf allies. However, Mathor never finished his training with the High elfs because of ethical problems. He was showing no compassion for the forest or life at all, he had a very good talent for using bow and used that talent in more brutal ways then subtle.
The High elf kicked Mathor out from his training and was to return to the Lordaeron kingdom and never step foot in Quel’thalas ever again. After he came back to Lordaeron, his superiors had heard about his behaviour and they discharged him from the Lordaeron military force. Mathor had now lost everything, his home, his job and his friends. Mathor was an outcast.
Mathor left the city of Lordaeron and founded a new home in Silverpine Forest. The training he had been given from the High elf and the Lordaeron military had give him enough knowledge to make a new home in the forest.
Warcraft 3[]
With Lordaeron’s fall and the infestation of Scourge in Silverpine, Mathmos became a mindless scourge agent and strolled around Silverpine forest for years till Sylvanas Windrunner saved his existence.
World of Warcraft[]
As a Forsaken, Mathmos served the Dark lady and spent seven years in the Plaguelands with the Forsaken Champion, Nathanos Marris. Nathanos taught and completed Mathmos training and soon became a Dark Ranger of the Forsaken.
Cataclysm[]
With the alliance march into the Plaguelands, Mathmos left the area with his mentor and settled in the Undercity. However, the stay would not last long as he got new orders to return to Western Plaguelands and defend Andorhal from the Alliance.
