Earthshatterer is the name given to the weapon of Gornak Earthfury. After the battle of Mount Hyjal, and Gornak's death, the Hammer was not retrieved and presumed lost. Years later. Chieftain Hrisskar Doomforge was contacted by the spirit of Gornak, asking him to find the hammer and lay his friend's memory to rest.
It was presumed that the Night Elves had found the hammer on the slopes of Hyjal. This proved true when the Clan rushed into Astranaar to reclaim Earthshatterer. After a quick battle with the local sentinels, the Clan retreated with their prize which was later constructed into a memorial to Gornak's heroic death
