Background

Born in the relative peacefull region of Kharanos Balynda grew up too become another master jewelcrafter in the tradition of the Goldhammers. If it wasnt for the delivery trip she and her father made too Menethil harbor she may have never knew of her warrior blood. During this trip she and her father where ambushed by an band of gnolls. Despite their lack of training with weapons, both Balynda and her father fought fierce wounding several and killing atleast one gnoll. The gnolls realizing that their prey wasnt as helpless as the imaginged fled back into the wetlands from where they emerged. For Balynda everything changed, Seeing herself and her father in peril awakend the warrior in balynda, she knew that could not go back too old life of jewelcrafter. Her father understood that Balynda would not be happy as a jewelcrafter so he sought out an master warrior too train her in the ways of the warrior. After completing her training she offer her services as mercenary when her skills as mercenary is not reguired she works in the family workshop with her father and brothers.

Family Background

The Goldhammer line is an long line of Ironforge dwarves. Well known for the beautiful jewelry they craft. In the various wars that plagued Azeroth the Goldhammers rarely participated in battles. They rather stayed in the safety of their homes ornamenting the armor and weapons of other dwarves with their precious gems and metals. Balynda is one of the few Goldhammers that has chosen the way of he warrior.
