Lord Baine Lucius Wolfmorth (12 before Warcraft - present) is the patriarch of House Wolfmorth, served in the army of the Alliance of Lordaeron, the Stromgarde army and lead the Wolfmorth Regiment. In recent years he started to work on a political career and after pledging loyalty to Anduin Wrynn, the previous king of Stormwind, made his residence in the Westbrook Keep. From there he tries to maintain the flow of recources from Elwynn's mines as well as possible, while dealing with the kobolds and Defias who claimed territory.
Early Life[]
During a harsh winter 12 years before the first invasion of the orcs Baine Lucius Wolfmorth was born a noble in the city of Stromgarde. From an early age, he was greatly influenced by the city's martial philosophy as well as the strict military tradition the Wolfmorth family was known for. Tales from his great great grandfather Rufus Wolfmorth and his fight with the wolves - where the family's name derives its origin from - fascinated him and even as a child he was curious about anything that dealt with combat. His father noticed, and taught his child everything there was to know, even playing games of chess to sharpen his son's tactical senses, while raising him with an air of discipline and duty.
During the time of the First War, Baine was considered old enough to be trained in The Wolfmorth Regiment. Traditionally, this was a small elite force that was founded by the Wolfmorth family and served Stromgarde. It was active mostly around Arathi conducting special operations. Young boys - and in some cases, girls too - were tossed into a harsh physical training, which was complemented with intensive intellectual teachings as well, mostly on topics of history, philosophy and especially strategy. Many of the family's elders considered only such a hard training worthy of Stromgarde's martial philosophy and considered their methods the only true way.
By the time the Second War had reached the Arathi Highlands Baine had reached early adulthood and had finished his training succesfully. With his training and family's blood he was quickly assigned the rank of Knight in the army of the Alliance of Lordaeron. Stromgarde was able to fend of most orcs during the war, but lost a considerable amount of the kingdom to the destruction the orcs brought along. It was during this time as well that Baine's father, the previous house patriarch, would be slain in battle. Uncertainty over his successor would follow for some time to come, as uncles and other relatives had their eyes on the title.
